If you haven't got MILKA, then you're lacking the essential elements required to better process the difference between good music and GREAT music. Without a doubt, the melodic rifts, bold lyrics, and high energy that comprises the alternative band, is sure to open eyes, minds, and doors. And of course, only GREAT music can accomplish such feats!
Milka, nominated for BEST POP BAND 2002 Orlando's Music Award, bares the name of the lead singer whose Latin roots still shine through in a genre some might think it unexpected to. Making appearances on Real Radio 104.1, Real Rock "Native Noise", Guerilla TV, FOX 35 Good Day Show, Orlando Miracle Pre-Game show, winning the 2002 SSA "Best Performance by a Band" Award and Battle of the Bands in Ft. Lauderdale, the 4 members are aggressively taking over the local music scene.
Recently, MILKA produced a single "Toxic" for an internet game, Twisted Magic, projected to be released 2003. After only being together for almost 2 years, their highly anticipated CD, "Fire In The Sky", was self released on June 21st. The CD was reviewed and received the highest score, 5 stars.
