With a sound that combines the best of modern Rap-Core and Funky Ass-Shakin’ Rock, Mushcup has gone from rocking local stages to rocking National Television Appearances. Two episodes of The Jenny Jones Show featured Mushcup as the house band and converted Mushcup fans across the U.S. as well as Australia, England, Canada, & South Africa. Regionally, the band tours through PA, MD, VA, DC, IN,OH, IL, WV, & NY with the support and sponsorship of Jagermeister. Mushcup has shared the stage with national recording artists: Crazy Town, Sevendust, Saliva, The Filthee Immigrants, Flickerstick, Systematic, Drowning Pool, and SinOmatic, as well as regional sensations The Buzz Poets, The Ultimatics, Shonuff, & Voodoo Babies.
Over the past 4 years Mushcup has worked the regional club circuit relentlessly, honing their unique style and stage performance to their current razor-sharp intensities. Their eagerly awaited sophomore release DRAINED has been well received and is getting airplay on one of the nation’s top 10 alternative radio stations, Pittsburgh’s 105.9 The X. , Mushcup is ready to do their thing…. (movin, doin' it, you know).
